Our History

Garland Insulating was founded by Paul Drum in 1948 before insulation was required by code. The company initially offered only fiberglass batt insulation to builders. The company's management was subsequently succeeded by Ferrell Drum in 1977 who is the company's current President. Garland Insulating has since opened branches in Houston, Austin, Tyler, and Ft. Worth and has grown to offer the full spectrum of insulation products. Garland Insulating works for custom and production builders as well as multifamily and commerical general contractors.
